SIGA Responds to Announcement from Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation

October 31, 2025 – Saskatoon, SK — The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) acknowledges the recent announcement from Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation on October 27, 2025, regarding their $100 million investment for a casino, hotel and convention centre development along Highway 16 West.

As part of our continued commitment to operational excellence, SIGA regularly reinvests in its properties to enhance efficiency and service quality, in consultation with key stakeholders. At this time SIGA has no plans to relocate the Gold Eagle Casino (GEC). Any future development plans regarding the GEC will be communicated at the appropriate time.

GEC remains a strong performer in the North Battleford market, and SIGA extends its appreciation to our valued customers and dedicated employees for their ongoing support and contribution to our success.
