  • On June 17, Chief Roland Crowe of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN) and Hon. Eldon Lautermilch of the province of Saskatchewan, signed the 1994 Gaming Framework Agreement at Wanuskewin Heritage Park
  • This sets the stage for the Chiefs to create SIGA to operate casinos
