SIGA launches Evolution’s Live Casino games on PlayNow.com

PlayNow players can now enjoy live casino games, without leaving their house

January 12, 2023 – Saskatoon, SK – Saskatchewan residents are now able to enjoy the live gaming experience without going out into the cold, with Live Casino launched this week on PlayNow.com.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this Live Casino option online to complement our existing casino properties for Saskatchewan residents’ enjoyment,” said SIGA President and CEO Zane Hansen. SIGA is the operator of PlayNow.com as per an operating agreement with SaskGaming.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) will be launching Live Casino games through its industry leading PlayNow.com platform. Through this platform, BCLC will be offering the unique suite of Evolution’s live games portfolio. A live table game offers the chance for players to sit in their own homes while playing their favorite casino games. The experience is wholly immersive and players experience and are able to interact with real-time human dealers, creating an individualized online casino experience.

Live Casino is an authentic casino tables experience that is popular in other Canadian provinces, including on PlayNow.com in B.C. and Manitoba, as well as in Europe, through Live Casino, which is offered via desktop and mobiles devices. PlayNow.com players in Saskatchewan can enjoy 17 tables offering Auto Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Baccarat eSqueeze, Dream Wheeler, Infinite Blackjack, Lightning Auto Roulette and Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em.

PlayNow.com, which launched in Saskatchewan on November 3, 2022, is managed by SaskGaming, operated by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA), regulated by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority and utilizes BCLC’s industry leading PlayNow.com platform.

In addition to live table games, PlayNow.com has the advantage of being the only legally operating online gaming site in Saskatchewan, with all net proceeds being reinvested back in the province, said Hansen. “With over 25 years of industry experience, SIGA is a trusted brand for gaming in the province,” said Hansen. With more than 500 casino games and a full suite of sports betting options, the site generates profits in Saskatchewan that support people across the province. “Similar to our bricks-and-mortar casinos, when residents play on the PlayNow.com site, net proceeds are reinvested back into Saskatchewan,” he said.

PlayNow.com also features the GameSense responsible gambling program. This program supports a robust and controlled responsible gambling environment, with features such as pop-up reminders of time and money spent, problem gambling referral information, play breaks and self-exclusions. GameSense Advisors are also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week via live chat to support safer play online.

Saskatchewan residents, ages 19 and older, can register to play by visiting PlayNow.com.
