Gold Eagle Casino guest wins over $1.4 million Smoke Signals Jackpot

One lucky guest at Gold Eagle Casino is going home as a millionaire today as SIGA announces that the Smoke Signals jackpot was won for more than $1.4 million.

August 7, 2025 – North Battleford, SK – Saskatchewan’s newest millionaire, Sherisse Quinney, a resident of Poundmaker Cree Nation, Saskatchewan, hit big on the Smoke Signals jackpot, Friday night, when on August 1, she officially won a total of $1,447,287.15. Sherisse won the Smoke Signals top tier progressive jackpot at the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority’s (SIGA’s) Gold Eagle Casino in North Battleford.

She was awarded the jackpot winnings at an official cheque presentation ceremony at Gold Eagle Casino on Thursday, August 7, 2025, by members of SIGA management.

“On behalf of SIGA’s Board of Directors, management and staff, I would like to congratulate Sherisse on her Smoke Signals jackpot win of more than $1.4 million,” said SIGA President and CEO Zane Hansen.

“Congratulations to our newest Saskatchewan millionaire, Sherisse Quinney. We are very happy to be able to present to Sherisse and her family the winnings at Gold Eagle Casino today,” said Gold Eagle Casino General Manager Kelly Atcheynum.

To date, SIGA’s Smoke Signals progressive has paid out $74,886,651.71 in jackpot wins.

Smoke Signals has been reset to one million dollars and can be won at any time.

Smoke Signals is a SIGA-wide progressive jackpot that links 51 slot machines at all seven casinos. There are three mystery jackpot tiers that increase over time, with specific starting and ending prize values. The largest mystery jackpot has a minimum value of $1,000,000 and pays out before it hits $2,000,000. Each time a patron plays a Smoke Signals slot machine, any of the jackpots could be triggered.
